I am slowly, very slowly, beginning to threaten Epignosis' status as the most profilic poll maker in the forums!
This is a celebration of Chicago being approved to PA. They're not in yet, though, since nobody has come up with an acceptable bio, I think. Anyway, your No.1 Chicago album? Mine is II, with Sisyphus coming second. I've only heard few of them, though, because as you can see, they are quite profilic! |

I'm still waiting for Chicago Pi.
I'm guessing it will be deep dish. Edited by Slartibartfast - July 08 2009 at 18:16 |

Whoah! Chicago are in! I had resigned myself to the thought that they would never be in.
The Ballet suite alone makes Chicago II my favorite. Guess we're going to have a party of one star reviews, specially for the later albums. EDIT: Hey, could the OP or someone else back up that claim because I found no evidence of Chicago being in the process of additon. (May be I didn't look hard enough, but I don't have much time) Edited by RaúlGuate - July 08 2009 at 13:45 |

I voted CTA, but I just as easily could have chosen II or III. In fact, they are all pretty good up to VII or VIII, and then not so much. I hadn't realized that The Stone of Sisyphus had been released. I'll have to check it out.
At any rate, it's great to hear that Chicago has finally been approved! |

Chicago II is essentially another name for the album Chicago. I'm going with CTA for its incredible depth and clearer sound than Chicago. Both albums are great (actually listening to Chicago now)

I didn't think Chicago would ever make it to progarchives but now that they are I definately pick Chicago II. The Ballet for a Girl In Buchanan is probably their best track ever.

I have but one Chicago album - LIve at Carnegie Hall, a four lp box set released in the early 70s which included a full-color 16 page booklet and two posters, one of which was giant. That would have gotten my vote, but alas, it is not an option. Hot Streets had some good numbers on it (heh), but I lost interest in the band after Terry Kath died. |

Maybe if I was given a choice of only one that I could have on my Desert Island I would not pick Night and Day Big Band, but I was expecting almost nothing from this and I really enjoy it alot. It sank like a rock because there was no radio format for it.

Chicago made a Christmas album? I either have, or should never, hear that!
