Gentle Giant. I'm not sure I'd want them to record, but to be able to see them live would be wonderful.

Genesis with Gabriel!!!. As for the others, I'm satisfied with the current line-ups of Yes and King Crimson; we have seen Pink Floyd reunited at the Live8 recently; Gentle Giant are out of the music business since 1980 and probably would disappoint me nowadays...

Definitely I would most like to see a reunited Pink Floyd, producing new material, even more than Genesis with Gabriel. Reformed Pink Floyd even without Waters would be fine for me. Also, a candidate not mentioned in the poll: Fish back to Marillion, but first he would need to get the voice of his youth back. Thus, impossible in two ways. Another desired imaginery "return": Rush starting to do real, complicated prog again!

From the list - Floyd. Given any choice it would be Renaissance - the line-up from "Ashes.." to "Azure..". They really are the only line-up I would like to see live again - of any band at any time. That is assuming you can't ressurect Jimi, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Petri Walli.

From the poll Crimson, original recipie is always best...In the same spirit Guru Guru in the Trepte years, the Essen 1970 album was the first one I listened to. It got me into the band and Kraut! in general, I hold it near to my heart.

If you mean to see them now, today, I'd like to see either Soft Machine (first or second albums line-up) or Caravan (up to their fifth album (not included) line-up). Don't know, however, whether it makes sense at all, since I don't know if those lines-up are possible to be gathered together.

MME, because Manfred Mann produced true Prog also in 60' s and because I have 2 LP that please me a lot.  So in a concert we would listen to 40 years of music (but with the cover produced in 60' s the decades broaden themselves).

Caravan would be my number 1 choice provided they played In The Land of Grey And Pink in its entirety. Otherwise my vote goes to Floyd.

The currently touring Yes is a fine line-up, Pink Floyd has already recently re-united shortly, ELP, Gentle Giant and Genesis would all sound plain awful. That leaves the early King Crimson line-up.

I agree with those who chose Gentle Giant, with the same reservation as to their recording again. But then, most re-unions leave some fans disappointed as the groups usually don't re-tread past glories (for some proggers , this seems to mean shorter, more concise & less complex songs, no matter their quality).

I would hate to see the first KC or ELP, because Greg Lake's voice is shot, and all you'd do is tie up Keith Emerson or Robert Fripp from doing great things.

Genesis would probably not be that great, as the setlist would probably consist of more from Invisible Touch and ABACAB than Selling or Foxtrot, because the pop is what sells.

Personally, I would like to see Gentle Giant from this list.
