...and a couple that could have been sidelongs, but aren't.
No other option here. As I'm excuding later released bonus/archival stuff there exists nothing more than the 24 tracks in the poll. Taken from these 11 albums released 1972-1979. Don't just vote, write a comment. Write a comment if you actually have another favorite too.

Ehem... one vote, no comments?
Oh well, over the years I've had several different favorites myself. Lately I guess the stunners Moondawn and Mirage has taken over as favorite albums (has been Cyborg, Blackdance and X), while Crystal Lake from the latter is simply amongst the most meaningful ways I can think of to spend half an hour. Don't watch the screen:

I've only got Dune, Timewind and Mirage, but since no one else is voting, I will. Crystal Lake is a beautiful track that positively conjures up visions of ice and winter. I love it.

^Dune is weird. I think of it as one part interesting experiment that failed, but the title track is ecellent. If you're interested in checking out more Schulze-albums you got plenty to look forward to. From this decade only Picture Music is weak imo. Even his two porn OST's are pretty great.

It's a shame it looks like most of his records have gone out of print again, and I refuse to do MP3 downloads. I very much want to hear Moondawn, X and Irrlicht.
I agree about Dune, the title track is great. Although I am a big Arthur Brown fan, you are right that side 2 doesn't really work.

^He must have sold quite well here in Europe as his albums are quite easy to find in mint first pressings, and surprisingly cheap. Shouldn't be to hard to hunt down a decent priced copy at Ebay.

Truthfully Irrlicht is one of the Schulze albums I've listened to the least. Simply because its the one classic album I don't own a physical version of yet. I have however bought it digitally. But when I don't get to do the ceremonial part of putting on vinyls A side then the flipside its just not the same. Atleast not with Klaus.
