 Topic: Which singer of Nightwish do you prefer?

So I was just wondering what people thought about the two singers of Nightwish. Who do you prefer?

Marco Hietala - he's great and his singing is steadily improving, he also seems to enjoy it and has fun doing it. When Turunen was fired I would have liked them to got another male singer to compliment Hietala instead of continuing the female-fronted symphonic metal tradition, which by 2005 was becoming passé.
When Turunen sings in Finish she's okay, her singing in English sometimes is cringeworthy - Olzon does a far better job of English lyrics, I also prefer her voice and her style of singing - it does not have the depth and range of Turunen but it is far more adaptable and natural.

I love Nightwish with Tarja and with Anette, so it's difficult to decide which do I prefer. I think that Anette when singing songs made when Tarja was in Nightwish is a bit disappointing because she can't sing as high as Tarja. But in general Nightwish is a great band with or without Tarja!

I wouldn't say that I love everything, but I think they've maintained steady quality since their early days and the vocalist doesn't matter much to me. Anette is cuter though.

As a singer, Tarja by far, no contest. As for the music, I like it very much with and after Tarja. I haven't heard all of their albums (though I have heard the last compilation and some live albums, so I get a goo idea of their whole discography), however, I believe my favourite album so far must be the last, "Imaginaerum"... there's something really special with it's melodies and so. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise of all the albums I have bought upon the time of it's release.

Tarja's voice is epic. Very epic. But Anett's voice is more natural... So it's hard to say which I really prefer.
