I remember listening to Amagrama once and they didn't grab me, I'll give them another shot but I doubt they will get my vote, since Tempano are one of my favorite South American bands. They had one of the greatest comebacks in Prog rock, and released very good albums in recent years.

I wanted to post another video from their 1979 excellent debut, but i couldn't find anything on the tube, some of you may like their earlier sound better although their current sound is also pretty great. Anyway for those of you who cares, check out the 1979 sample here in PA on Tempano's page.
Really some excellent stuff, worth seeking out. My vote goes there.

From first listen, I couldn't vote yet. Amagrama's songs were cool. Tempano's first song was absolutley not for me, but the second one, well it was nice, not my very favourite, but it makes me think that they may have some other songs along the same trend that I could like better. I hope I get a chance to listen to this ones again, and perhaps look for something more from them before the polls are closed.

Actually the song you didn't like comes from a very good album, the one you liked better comes from their latest which is less melodic and more experimental. Their 70's album is excellent symphonic rock.

And what did you think about the song I didn't like (so much) compared to the rest of the album?

It somehow reminded me of Sting...
And I kind of prefer the vocals to be in spanish, if they are latin american bands... it kind of suites better...
Although the vocals are good throughout i tend to agree with you. Their
debut album is mainly instrumental but contains vocals in spanish. Check
out the sample on their page in PA, it's nothing like the videos
presented here.
