I'm voting Isis. Cynic is growing on me however.

It's a difficult question.Because Cynic is one of my favorite bands. But sometimes they are more technical than the normal without a reason.So,Isis.

They're both great, but I have to be in the mood for post when I do Isis. Cynic can be listened to at any time.

Both are incredible bands, but I like ISIS a fair bit more than Cynic.

I've been listening to ISIS for about 5 years, and to Cynic for only 1, so the former has a deeper connection to me than the latter.

I feel like this comparison of equally mertiless and irrelevant new bands has been done already...

Walter does realize that Cynic is exempt from the Good Music Cut-Off Date right? If I could vote it would be for Isis, but both are phenomenal.

Two incredible bands. I'd probably say Isis by a smidgen.

Haven't heard Traced in Air yet, but Wavering Radiant would probably destroy it in my mind anyways.
