6 labels for this live album? Well... LMP for music publishing, Rising Sun and
Lucretia Records International for pulishing of CD... Self Distribution for
distribution and Rock Brigade and Pick Up Records [Bassano Del Grappa, Vivenza,
Italy] for promotion. Oh my God...!!! For this masterpiece of Symphonic Speed Prog
Classic Metal...!!! To this point is necessary to talk about the music. Well, this is
a good example of the Prog side of the Classic Metal Revival. But the Angra have one
gear in more. All the ingredients result excellently blended and in this live Ep the
result is one excellent Prog!!! Iron Maiden, Helloween and Saxon, Yes, Kansas and
Genesis coexist in a music that it is really powerful, warm and concrete. If
"Crossing" is a banal but epic intro, "Nothing To Say" is a very good Speed Prog
Metal song... Very, very, very speed and "Z.I.T.O." is only more Metal!!! These songs
represent the two faces of the Angra, one Prog and one Classic Metal. In this sense
"Carolina IV" is another example but concentrated in one song with a tribal long
intro. "Unfinished Allegro" is a joke for campionated orchestra. But another extreme
good Classic Speed Power Prog Metal is the final track "Carry On", to strokes 100%
Classic Metal and to strokes 100% Prog but always Speed Metal with good keyboards. In
general this is a good example of Speed Metal applied to the Prog Metal.
One of the best Prog and Metal live album, "Holy Live" is another (for me)
masterpiece. Higly recommended.
