Black flag over Belgium today.
One of the greatest musician and philosopher Marc Moulin died today.
 He founded Placebo in the early 70's who did a mean jazz-rock, then went solo (superb Sam Suffi album) and produced albums for many group including Cos
In the 80's he tried electro pop as a joke in Telex and ended up doing a few albiums as well. ZZ Top's favorite group was Telex.
in the 90's he developped his acid-jazz that St Germain would copy and exploit allover the planet!!
His vicious humour and profound thoughts also drove him to write a few books and appear in the funniest radio show of Belgium: La Semaine Infernale

I was addicted to his radio shows on "Belgian Radio 1" (RTB at the time): "Cap de Nuit" and later on, "King Kong", starting at 10PM from Monday to Friday.
King Kong always started with Larry Coryel's "Call to the higher conciousness" track from the album "barefoot boy". A Jazz-rock masterpeace which was unfortunately never re-issued as a CD.
Placebo version of Marvin Gaye's Inner city blues remains my favourite one.
