According to polish site on prog www.artrock.pl Riverside's singer, lyricist and last but not least bass-player Mariusz Duda is finishing his solo project, named Lunatic Soul. The group (or rather polish supergroup) features Maciej Szelenbaum - keyboards, flutes and various instruments, Wawrzyniec Dramowicz (Indukti) - drums, Michał Łapaj (Riverside) - keyboards, Maciej Meller (Quidam) - guitar and of course Duda himself. The album is going to be produced by Robert Srzednicki (Annalist, production of Riverside albums along with Magda Srzednicka).

More info at www.lunaticsoul.com - unfortunately in Polish only...

According to the Duda himself Lunatic Soul's music is going to be "an oriental-trance-psychodelic-lyrical-musical trip through tarlike darkness, through which lunatic soul only could pass or, rather, swim".

Riverside and Quidam combined with Indukti - my ears are watering....
yet you still have time!

Sounds sweet !!! Clap

I do hope this is a side project and that Riverside stays together.
It will be interesting to see where they go (in a musical sense) after completing their trilogy - personally I thought Rapid Eye Movement was something of a letdown after the fantastic releases Out of Myself and Second Life Syndrome.

There's also a new minisite for the Lunatic Soul's upcoming album which will be released on October. Sounds good to me...

And as it says on Lunatic Soul's homepage "Riverside is are all well " They like to keep busy as there will be a new Riverside album next year http://www.riverside.art.pl/eng/main.html titled Anno Domini High Definition. But even before that there wil be a livedvd
