Arktis/Air biography
ARKTIS/AIR is a six-piece avant prog ensemble from Austria. Their sound is an often confrontational blend of avant jazz, post metal, King Crimson-like riffing, and an overall love for the eclectic mixing of styles in surprising ways. Their self-titled debut album was released in April 2011.

Dual guitars are handled by Robert POCKFUβ and Markus STEINKELLNER; dual keys are played by Bernhard HOECHTEL and Bernhard GEIGL; with sax by Philipp HARNISCH and drums by Niki DOLP, rounding out the septet.
