Galaxy-Lin biography
A short-lived Dutch project GALAXY-LIN were founded in 1974 by a guitarist / mandolinist Robbie Van LEEUWEN, who had already been renowned as one of founders of 60s Dutch pop / rock superstars named The Shocking Blue. On the foundation he's recruited Rudy BENNET (voices), Hugo Van HAASTERT (mandolin), Peter WASSENAAR (bass), Peter RIJNVIS (drums, percussion), and Dick REMELINK (saxophones, flute). GALAXY-LIN have launched their eponymous debut album in 1974 and the following (and the last) album titled "G" in 1975. Their two albums have been compiled and released in 2013 via Universal Music.
