2 stars A couple of months ago I saw the name of Pseudo Sentai online, which caught my attention, and then I saw they were labeled as a progressive rock band, so I got interested (this is an example that names and titles do matter to people) and wanted to listen to their music. Fortunately, one can find it on their Bandcamp site, so it is easy for us to go and give them some spins. I want to say that I have enjoyed their tunes, because what they do is not the conventional type of music or prog or rock, etc., they make original and crazy music that can please you, however, they don't offer the easiest songs to dig.

Well, with this review of a two-song single I am starting Pseudo/Sentai's support, so you will see me writing reviews for each and every of their releases. The title of this one is 'Halloween Threats' which contains two short compositions made by Scott Baker and Greg Murphy. 'Goodby Gobleddy' with only 3 minutes is the longest here, but it is interesting, I like the programming while the guys sing and put some tense and Halloween-esque atmosphere. I love both voices, one is screaming and the other answers, pretty cool and attractive to me. So here I knew my journey with Pseudo/Sentai would be longer.

The other track is 'Tsunambie (The Tsunami Made by Zombies)', and it is cool too, the guitars implement power while the vocals are full of energy and passion, they put intensity and made us feel actually under a horde of zombies, nice. And that's it, this two-track single that caught my attention and made me feel interested in this curious and great band. Don't pay attention to the grade, I will give it under two stars but it does not matter, what matters is the cool music.

Enjoy it!
