If I'm to add anything to the pantheon of opinions on this thing, it would be that I adore how deceptive it is in its complexity. Even after a few listens, its status isn't really apparent - it's just a pretty good alt rock album, no more. But then you notice that there isn't a single weak track, and that for a bunch of relatively simple songs, every single one has something beneath the surface. It's an album that I don't think I could ever get bored of hearing, simply because it works as fun catchy songs just as well as it works for deeper, more introspective listens.
