5 stars This album marks the high piont of Greenslades career. From the opening of the psycho health kick of 'Animal Farm' to the final notes of the moody 'Gangsters' there is nota weak moment on this album. Highlights include the John lawton guide to gutter journalism that is 'Newsworth', the dreamy keyboard workout of 'Catalan', and the introspective 'Doldrums'.

However the real gem in this treasure chest is side two's opening trilogy of 'The Flattery Stakes', 'Waltz For A Fallern Idol' and 'Asses Ears' where the expert musicianship, tounge in cheek lyrics and raw emotion take you on a strange journey through some strange sound scapes and vivid imagry. This album is a must for lovers of fine music everywhere.
