3 stars Conceal the Metal face

This is a very nice and enjoyable disc of acoustic re-arrangements of songs from throughout Threshold's long career. The sound here is dominated by acoustic guitars, vocals, and grand piano. But there is also bass and drums in the mix. There is absolutely no Metal here, of course, but it is not just a set full of ballads. Songs like Part Of The Chaos and Narcissus have retained their progressive and parts and cool instrumental breaks.

While this is primarily for fans, I cannot give this less than three stars. It might perhaps even appeal to some people who normally don't like this band!

Good release by a good band
