1 stars And when Waters tries to escape ugliness in his music, he makes vulgar music. Radio K.A.O.S. is an evidence. This time, no crooked sound constructions (or, probably in the artist's terms, no 'musical experimenting') - but boundless sea of platitudes. Eight tacky, trite poppy themes rather relevant for a mediocre FM rocker than for Pink Floyd's bassist, - that's what Radio K.A.O.S really is. It sounds like the artist took musical ideas from Bon Jovi, guitar parts from the worst albums by Marillion or It Bites, and drums from Edhel's Elfin Dance or Rivendel's Manifesto. Well, in brief, most likely for 'glorified, magnified' Roger Waters, the only alternative to ugliness in the vein of The Pros And Cons or The Final Cut may be facelessness. OK my congrats.
