5 stars At some point, in his extensive music road of composition and performance, Steve Roach, arriveth to his own musical perfection. At some point, because he has recorded a quiet vast discography (most of them are still missing in his PA page), but there are a lot. Anyway, after this point, everything he composes, records and produces, has very high, "self-imposed" standards of quality, uniqueness and diversity (in his own spectrum, of course!).

At some point in his personal quest, Steve Roach found his own musical language. In this "A Deeper Silence" project, he goes even further, as the title suggests and as he "delivers".

As a listening experience, I, who rarely talk about the "Art-presentation" or cover, could really compare this music to its image. A deep "environmental", un-commonly rich and perfect composition, that emerges, in a "drone-like" procession of invisible, yet perceptible myriad of "silences" and "dark colors". Really, you have to be there to understand!

5***** Masterful ,"SLOW MUSIC" project., with its own identity, both in concept and musical achievement

........ Deep very Deep!!
